NCBIS’ 30th Anniversary

We may not have turned the world around yesterday but NCBIS certainly brought a huge splash of colour to the Great Pyramids of Giza for our 30th anniversary celebrations. The school community arrived en mass to join hands around the biggest of the three  pyramids for a great display of optimism and unity.  Egyptian crooner Hisham Abbas performed a specially written song called ‘Circle of Peace’  and several times again, as we then all gathered at the front face of the pyramid for more singing and speeches. Everyone came dressed in their national costume or colours and our achievement was captured by international and local press organisations. A party on the plateau overlooking the pyramid site followed the Circle of Peace. A day to remember for everyone involved.
