We say goodbye to Ian and Linda tonight. We hope they had a wonderful time. The boys have very much enjoyed having their grandparents staying with them and Cairo has even begun to smile with his mouth open – hurrah. We travelled on every transport known to humans: aeroplane, ferry boat, car, cruise liner, bicycle, horse and carriage, felucca, taxi and train. The only modes we missed out on were camels and donkeys and we could have easily hitched a ride on the West bank of Luxor if we had wanted to. What a fantastic holiday we had in Upper Egypt. Andy will no doubt post some photos later this week to show you all.  Safe journey home.
